Nurturing the Mother-to-be: Pregnancy Retreat

I am so excited about our nurturing pregnancy retreat in the elbowroom escape in County Wicklow, this coming February.  Joining me in facilitating this lovely weekend will be our amazing yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer, Melissa Curtis.  Like me, Melissa is a mum, yoga teacher, birth educator and hypnobirthing coach.  She also has over 14 years experience working with pre and postnatal mums and is a qualified doula also.

A pregnancy retreat to prepare body and mind for motherhood

This 2-night retreat takes place from February 3rd to 5th 2017.  The idea behind it is to prepare mums-to-be for birth and motherhood through nurturing; in a comfortable, safe and relaxing environment.

The retreat will give mums-to-be time to prepare their mind and emotions, either for becoming a mum for the first time or becoming a mum again.  It will also provide them with yoga postures and exercises beneficial for pregnancy, posture and optimal baby positioning._lou3977

Its suitable for first time mums and those expanding their families further and we will discuss the changing family dynamic and all that comes with it.

A woman gives birth, not only with her body, but also with her mind.

Mums will leave the retreat feeling rested and relaxed, but also confident in their, and their body’s ability to birth in a calm and positive way.

What’s included:
